2017 Hyundai Sonata Lighting Problem

Yesterday, my battery was completely dead due to the severe cold. A mechanic replaced the battery, but today I noticed that none of the lights on the control panel are working. I’m talking about the blue glow that illuminates all the buttons. It should look like a photo I have, but now it’s all dark. The lights on the front panel gauge are working fine; only these lights are out.

Anyone know what happened and how to get them back?

Check if your headlight is set to off. It won’t illuminate until you set the headlight to auto.

Another thing to check is the dimming feature on your dash. The backlight for the infotainment dims with it too.

That was it!! Thank you so much! I didn’t realize they could even be turned off.
