Got a new 2025 Hyundai Sonata Limited Hybrid - what mods should I consider

Picked up this car last night, and today I got XPEL’s XR Plus ceramic tint installed (55% on the front and 25% all around). Definitely need to take better photos soon!

Looking for suggestions on custom mods—thinking about adding carbon fiber front and rear lips but haven’t found any designs I like yet. Does anyone have recommendations for good websites to check out?

I wouldn’t change anything. Wheels could be an option but that costs a lot.

Why change something right after you buy it? The warranty is still good. Changing older cars is smarter since they won’t cost as much if there’s an issue.

Focus on maintenance.

Basic cars usually don’t need mods.

If you haven’t had a Hybrid before, just a heads up: stay away from anything electronic and don’t let the gas run out.

Consider tinting and maybe a ceramic coat. Check out KDM Holic for some mods. They might have a body kit for the 24 Non-N Lines.

I’ll check that out, thanks man.

I got the same color and year but in the N line series. Such a nice car.

Swap in an LS engine.

Looks good as it is.

Get custom molded all-weather mats. You can find a set on eBay for about $70. Way better than the factory ones.

Enjoy your ride, buddy.

Is it just me or does the front remind anyone else of the VW Scirocco? I think it’s really nice.

Looking for mod suggestions for a Sonata Hybrid? Consider selling it for an Elantra N, that would be a solid change.

But really, the Sonata is nice, just not much to gain from modding it, especially the hybrid model. It’s heavy, big, and meant for fuel efficiency. Real power mods won’t be available, and while you could try handling mods like swapping the N-Line suspension, it’ll cost a lot for little gain. Better to invest in a platform with solid aftermarket support like the Elantra N.

Switch it for any other brand and that would be a good change.
