Was a showroom car and someone had a lease on it for 1 year. Seems like a golden egg; it’s top trim and I mean everything push start, sunroof all the way back. This is a huge upgrade from my 2016 Corolla; is there anything about the Sonata I should know?
I have a 2021. Great car. At 10K miles, it looks like you found a gem!

Great to hear! I’ve been at 5 dealerships today and walked in here and got greeted with some very nice people! I know before there were issues with Hyundai being broken into rather easily with the USB-like key, is that still an issue I need to worry about? This one is push to start though.
@Pippin
It’s not an issue if it’s a push-start ignition rather than an ordinary key. The only risk is an idiot Kia-boy wannabe who doesn’t know the difference and doesn’t realize it until after he has already broken into the vehicle.
@Phoenix
lol this is my first time hearing of Kia boys. Good thing I walked off that lot. They lied to me claiming they were going to soft pull after I said I didn’t want a hard pull done unless I get some numbers, and boom I see 5 hard pulls done.
@Pippin
The push start and button shifters took some getting used to, but now I actually like them. The climate control is a bit confusing. I’ve had to fiddle with it to get it to do what I want. FYI, the speedometer is on the left and the RPM on the right. Aesthetically, the car is beautiful, inside and out. I really love the metal details in the steering wheel and even the stereo knobs look thoughtfully made and not like an afterthought. It drives really well too. Very quiet and fun to drive. I am thrilled with it. By the way, mine is an SEL+.
@Jordan
Perfect! I’m getting an SEL+ as well. I LOVED IT! Looks better than every car I’ve seen so far. I’m praying I can get the payment somewhat reasonable, crossing my fingers on the $400s and I’ll be sold. Insurance in my area is cheap, $70. Yeah, on the test drive I was a little confused on the button shifters to park lol.
@Pippin
You’ll get used to the button shifters. I really disliked them at first (not a deal breaker, though) but I actually like them now. What color is the car you’re looking to buy?

Hampton Gray. Bummer it’s 25 degrees where I am and won’t be able to enjoy this moonroof.
@Pippin
Nice! It’s cold there all year or just now?

Going to be freezing and potential snow until Feb.

That’s ok. You’ll have time after that to enjoy it. Now go get the car before someone else does!
@Jordan
They close Sunday but I’ll be there Monday to pick it up!!! Can’t let this rare baby go away.
