Beware of your surroundings and not just the person signaling. Not sure what the speed limit is in that section of the road, but you were flying as if the roads were dry. Keep your distance from other cars. The other car is at fault too!
Way too fast like others have said, but also just hit the person. Didn’t look like they used a turn signal, and they just went.
Honestly, it looks like you never touched your brakes; he signaled to come over (although at the last moment). Seems to me you should have anticipated him coming over and slowed down.
Inexperienced driving, too fast for the conditions and not sure if anyone but I couldn’t read the tags on the SUV. So if he didn’t stop after the accident, then good luck trying to collect from their insurance if they have such thing in their vehicle.
