I appreciate my 2025 Sonata but I miss my 2021 and its winged eyeliner

I recently purchased a 2025 Limited, and two days ago, during our first snow and sleet, my dashboard was bombarded with warnings—driver assistance issues, speed sensors blocked, and more. I’m pretty sure slush and ice accumulating on the cameras and front sensors caused the problem, but I couldn’t find a way to disable the alerts and stop the constant flashing messages.

By the next day, everything was fine again, which confirms it was likely the slush. However, I’m looking at four months of winter driving ahead, and this seems like it’s going to be a recurring issue. When I reached out to the dealership, they told me this is normal and recommended either stopping to clean off the sensors or ignoring the warnings altogether. That response feels both impractical and unacceptable.

Has anyone else run into this? How did you resolve it? Aside from this, I’ve loved the car so far, especially the driver assistance features—when they’re functioning properly.

Title should say “its” - I am the village idiot, there is not more I can do.

You got got by seriousification, everything has to be “badass” and “intimidating”

I think the older headlamps / front end was a bit more intimidating haha. It literally makes an angry face.

I never found the old one ugly, and I certainly appreciate the originality of the DRLs, but the 2024 looks so much better.

Not sure about the back, but the front of the new '25s are something special. It’s something that’s very fittingly futuristic and I honestly didn’t expect these types of designs to come from Hyundai.

That’s the reason I traded in my 2021 Hyundai Sonata Limited for the 2024 Hyundai Convenience, the honeycomb design was horrendous…lol…IMO

Older ones look too much like a sad shark.
